Morocco e-Visa general information

A visa to Morocco has been available online since July 2022, when the Moroccan Government introduced it to facilitate traveling for eligible foreign citizens and attract more tourists.

Morocco e-Visa allows one entry into the country and a stay that does not exceed one month (30 days). The validity period is 30 days from issue. When a visitor is already in Morocco, they can extend their electronic visa for Morocco for another 6 months (180 days).

According to the Morocco visa requirements, an applicant must have a valid passport, a recent face photo, an onward/return ticket, evidence of sufficient funds, and a visa, if applicable. Business travelers may need additional documentation.

  • You have resided in the USA, Canada, the EU, the UK, Switzerland, Japan, New Zealand, and Australia for a period of 6 months or longer
  • You are a resident of the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand with a Schengen visa remaining effective for a minimum of 3 months

Note: Travelers from India, Israel, Thailand, Azerbaijan, Guatemala, and Jordan can obtain a Morocco electronic visa without the above-mentioned visas.

The application process for a Morocco e-Visa is straightforward and intuitive. Applicants can apply online from any place with internet access, so time-consuming in-person visits to an embassy are no longer required for eligible nationals.

In order to apply for a Morocco visa online, an applicant must upload certain documents:
